A Taste of Thailand: My Experience at Tida Thai Cebu City
I have been looking for a good Thai food restaurant for quite some time, so when I stumbled upon Tida Thai in the Gallery, Cebu City, I was immediately intrigued.
The buzz around this place was hard to ignore, and I couldn’t wait to see if it lived up to the hype. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a delightful culinary journey that would exceed my expectations!
Join me as I share my experience and invite you to discover what makes Tida Thai so special.
First Impressions
As I walked into Tida Thai in the Gallery, Cebu City, I was immediately struck by the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The warm colors and Thai-inspired decor set the perfect tone for a cozy dining experience. It felt like stepping into a little corner of Thailand right in the heart of the city.
The Ambiance
The ambiance was truly delightful—soft lighting and charming decor made it feel both relaxed and lively. I could already tell this would be the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. The gentle sounds of calm music in the background added to the overall experience, making it feel special.
The Star of the Show: Mixed Seafood Curry
Now, let’s talk about the food! I decided to try the Mixed Seafood Curry served in a coconut, and let me tell you, it was a game changer.
The presentation alone was stunning; the curry was beautifully served in a whole coconut, which not only looked impressive but also enhanced the dish’s flavors.
The moment I took my first bite, I was hooked. The curry was rich and aromatic, perfectly balancing spices that danced on my palate. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and every spoonful was a burst of flavor.
It was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time, and I can’t recommend it enough!

A Taste of Pad Thai
We also ordered the Pad Thai, which was solid but didn’t quite steal the show like the curry did.
It had the classic flavors you’d expect—tender noodles, a hint of sweetness, and the crunch of peanuts—but it felt a bit more standard compared to the exquisite curry.
That said, it was still enjoyable for its price and complemented our meal nicely.

Exceptional Service
What truly made my visit memorable was the outstanding service. The staff at Tida Thai were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
They were eager to offer recommendations and answered all my questions with a smile. It’s clear they take pride in providing a great dining experience, and it really showed.
Affordable Delight
As for the cost, I was pleasantly surprised. My dining partner and I spent around 1,500 Philippine pesos for a hearty meal that left us both satisfied. Given the quality of the food and the level of service, it felt like a fantastic value.
Conclusion: A Must-Visit Spot
In conclusion, Tida Thai is definitely a must-visit for anyone in Cebu City. The combination of amazing food, especially that unforgettable Mixed Seafood Curry, a lovely ambiance, and fantastic service makes it a standout choice.
If you’re looking for a dining experience that will transport you to Thailand, make sure to stop by Tida Thai—you won’t regret it!
I enjoyed reading your piece and it provided me with a lot of value.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it.
This place sounds like a hidden gem! I’ve been on the hunt for an authentic Thai spot, and your description of the Mixed Seafood Curry already has me drooling. The idea of it being served in a coconut is such a unique touch—does it add a subtle coconut flavor to the dish? I’m curious, though, did they have any vegetarian options that stood out? The ambiance seems perfect for a date night or even just a solo treat. I’m wondering, how busy does it get during peak hours? Would you recommend making a reservation? Also, what’s the price range like—is it more on the affordable side or a splurge? I’d love to hear more about the other dishes you might’ve tried or any tips for first-timers visiting Tida Thai.
I’d suggest you book a reservation since they’re getting more and more traffic. The curry however didn’t have any subtle coconut taste but the presentation however was unmatched. Prices go up to 30$ and I haven’t seen any purely vegetarian or vegan options.
I just like the valuable information you provide to your articles. I抣l bookmark your blog and take a look at once more right here frequently. I am somewhat certain I will be informed lots of new stuff right right here! Good luck for the next!
Thank you!
I’m glad you liked it. 🙂
I’ve been craving authentic Thai food for ages, and your experience at Tida Thai has me sold! The way you described the Mixed Seafood Curry in a coconut made my mouth water—it sounds like a masterpiece. I love how the ambiance transported you to Thailand; it’s rare to find a place that nails both the vibe and the food. I’m curious, though, did you try any of their desserts or drinks? I feel like Thai cuisine has so many hidden gems in that department. Also, was the service as good as the food? I’m always on the lookout for places that go the extra mile. Would you say Tida Thai is worth a visit for someone who’s never tried Thai food before? I’m tempted to make it my first experience!
Hello there!
